If winter weather leaves your hands cracked and dry, especially if you wash your hands often, there are a few things you can do to soothe dry hands.
Use a mild soap for hand washing. Preferably natural or organic, without the harsh ingredient sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS). An organic soap has milder sulfates that won’t dry your skin or harm the environment.
Apply hand cream after washing your hands. Use a natural organic one. The synthetic soaps are often based on mineral oils which come from petroleum. Not good for our skin or the planet. Body buddy lotion also works really well as a hand lotion.
Use an overnight hand mask. Apply an extra thick balm/ointment such as All you need is me balm on your hands which will nourish and work during the night when your skin is in repair mode. If you feel that it’s too sticky, use thin cotton gloves.
Dry skin is more common in the colder winter months. We often expose our skin to changes in humidity and temperature which can irritate our skin. Turning the heat up high indoors and taking hot showers, then going outside to colder temperatures. The cold weather, snow, rain and harsh winds can strip the skin of its natural, moisturizing oils. We need moisture for the skin barrier to perform well. Loss of moisture can result in skin flaking, show up as rough patches or redness and cracks. Dry skin may be itching, stinging and feel sensitive to the touch. The All you need is me balm is perfect to use as an overnight mask. It locks in moisture while allowing skin to breathe. A family staple
When your lymphatic system is stagnant, it can show up on your skin. The lymphatic system assists with the expelling of toxins. It lies just beneath your skin. If it is not working as it should or clogged, your skin may suffer from acne, loss of elasticity, premature aging and other skin conditions. The lower body gets a head start in the morning as we get up to walk around and move. To get the circulation going for the upper body try this: clasp your hands behind your head so your elbows stick out. Now in a pumping motion put the elbows together in front of you for a count of 30-50 times. Other ways you can kickstart the system is to dry brush your skin and jump on a trampoline or maybe doing the chicken dance 😉
When temperatures are going down and the weather getting cooler it sucks moisture from our skin. Leaving the skin dry and itchy. This is the time when it becomes important to counteract with a good quality organic body lotion. Body lotions add a coating to the skin to prevent water evaporating.
Maybe you are doing all the right things: cleansing, exfoliating, masking, moisturizing and spf’ing and your skin is still not glowing. A serum could be exactly what your skin needs. Serums are thinner than traditional moisturizers and contain higher concentrations of active ingredients. They absorb quickly, are soothing and nourishing for sensitive skin, hydrate skin, prevent scars and blemishes, minimize breakouts, protect your skin from free radicals, boost collagen and the ingredients in Face it serum are all anti inflammatory. Start with Sea me mask and make sure you leave your skin damp after washing off the mask, so the serum can be absorbed deeply into your skin. Follow with a moisturizer like Make my day cream to seal in the serum. Our award winning Face it serum is high performing with pure organic oils.
Ps. right now we have a 50% discount on Sea me mask for a limited time
When I create my skincare products I’m adamant that the ingredients are natural and have as high organic levels as possible while being effective. This is why we included a whopping 5% of organic chlorella in Sea me mask. Chlorella is a single-celled, green freshwater algae. Chlorella is nutrient-dense and containing a surplus of vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B6 B12 and C. Additionally, Chlorella has high levels of omega-3 fatty acids, protein, fibre, iron, zinc, magnesium, phosphorus and calcium. These vitamins and minerals are key benefactors in maintaining the health of your hair and skin. For skin, Sea me mask hydrates, calms inflammation and draws out impurities leaving your skin firmer and glowing. Chlorella, compared to spirulina which might be more known, contains even higher levels of omega-3 fatty acids, which provide proteins and nutrients to hair follicles and skin. It’s also higher in antioxidants. Chlorella is a fantastic water plant that treats your hair on so many levels. It prevents hair loss by strengthening your hair strands and follicles. Chlorella keeps strands smooth, silky and shiny and increasing their elasticity. It nourishes and restores hair and scalp from the roots to the tips. If your hair gets greasy fast, Sea me mask lets you skip additional days of hair washing as it keeps hair clean longer. 👍
Take care of your hair. Wet hair is especially susceptible to breakage. Exposing hair to water causes the hair shaft to swell and stretch. Adding stress from brushing in that state can cause it to break. Brush your hair when it’s dry before shampooing. Towel-dry if it’s tangled after washing so it no longer drips. You may want to apply a leave-in conditioner, and use a wide-tooth comb or a detangling brush. At least twice a week apply Sea me mask on your head and give yourself a good scalp massage. It soothes, revitalizes and deeply nourishes your scalp and hair. Helps to improve the health of your scalp. Protects and strengthens your hair. Why not multi task both face and head with Sea me mask?
Glowing healthy skin is not an overnight miracle. It’s easy thinking that piling on all the makeup products in the world will help. To achieve natural radiance that makes your skin look healthy and flawless we need to treat our skin at its core and adopt good habits.
Always remove your makeup. Leaving it on clogs the pores which may cause blemishes. Your skin needs to breathe while it’s in repair mode. Double cleanse.
Apply sunscreen also in the winter that blocks UVA and UVB rays. A longtime exposure to the sun can cause wrinkles, age spots and more serious skin problems.
Eat fruits, vegetables, greens, protein and vitamins. Cut down on sugar
Exercise regularly to stimulate your blood circulation. If you don’t have time with anything else, take a brisk walk around the block. Notice the glow on your face.
Try to get at least 8 hours sleep
Make time for “me time” and try to avoid stress. Ever notice that you tend to break out more when you are stressed?
Drink water
Do a facial massage when you apply your cream. I mix Make my day cream with Face it serum. Making sure not to pull the skin.
Use gentle skincare products.
Use a face mask like Sea me mask twice a week. It really gives you a noticeable glow and is a true Cinderella mask. Packed with organic ingredients, chlorella and antioxidants that will really make a difference to your skin.

Cold weather and frequent washing of our hands wreak havoc with the skin on the hands. What to do about those dry hands? Here are a few tips: As soon as it starts getting cold, protect your hands with gloves, after you wash your hands make sure they are totally dry. Use a gentle soap, not a harsh antibacterial one. Moisturize with a lotion after every time. At bedtime apply All you need is me balm on your hands. Thin cotton gloves optional. You will wake up with baby soft skin. All you need is me balm has castor oil that helps pull moisture from the air to the skin. Beeswax hydrates and protects skin creating a barrier. Olive oil locks in the moisture, Shea butter nourishes and soothes skin. The Vitamin E helps to seal the cracks in skin caused by dryness.
Blueberry seed oil contains oleic acid which is a permeability enhancer, it increases absorption and making the active ingredients even more powerful. There is no water in All you need is me balm, all the ingredients are active and anti inflammatory.
Stay away from petroleum based products, they are harmful to your skin and our environment
