Toilet talk

Here comes a bit of 🚽toilet talk and etiquette. Engineers at Boulder university recently conducted a scientific study that shows that particles from flushing the toilet with an open lid can fly up to 1,5 meters. It sprays on the walls, can zoom straight onto your face, land on your skin, and any objects we have in the bathroom.
While being meticulous keeping our skin fresh and clean, I don’t think anyone wants germs and bacteria sprayed on it. Sorry about this disgusting 🤢topic
Save my dry winter skin

We need moisture for the skin barrier to perform well. Loss of moisture can result in skin flaking, show up as rough patches or redness and cracks. Dry skin may be itching, stinging and feel sensitive to the touch.
The All you need is me balm is perfect to use as an overnight mask. It locks in moisture while allowing skin to breathe. A family staple

How fit is your face?

Facial exercising helps improve muscle tone in the face. It enhances flow of oxygen and circulation which increases skin elasticity. It may improve posture with the result of fewer headaches and less teeth grinding.

Glowing healthy skin naturally

It’s easy thinking that piling on all the makeup products in the world will help. To achieve natural radiance that makes your skin look healthy and flawless we need to treat our skin at its core and adopt good habits.
Always remove your makeup. Leaving it on clogs the pores which may cause blemishes. Your skin needs to breathe while it’s in repair mode. Double cleanse.
Apply sunscreen also in the winter that blocks UVA and UVB rays. A longtime exposure to the sun can cause wrinkles, age spots and more serious skin problems.
Eat fruits, vegetables, greens, protein and vitamins. Cut down on sugar
Exercise regularly to stimulate your blood circulation. If you don’t have time with anything else, take a brisk walk around the block. Notice the glow on your face.
Try to get at least 8 hours sleep
Make time for “me time” and try to avoid stress. Ever notice that you tend to break out more when you are stressed?
Drink water
Do a facial massage when you apply your cream. I mix Make my day cream with Face it serum. Making sure not to pull the skin.
Use gentle skincare products.
Use a face mask like Sea me mask twice a week. It really gives you a noticeable glow and is a true Cinderella mask. Packed with organic ingredients, chlorella and antioxidants that will really make a difference to your skin.
Remember beautiful skin is not a sprint it’s a marathon.
Best protection against sunburn, windburn and the elements

Protect your face from harsh weather

Walking may be the simplest and most underrated form of exercise.
There is a lot of information out there about the positives of running and lifting weights, but the simple activity of walking can provide a whole host of benefits too.
Walking is simple, free, and nearly any able-bodied person can do it.
As well as burning calories, studies show that brisk walks may help to reduce the intake of high calorie snacks by half. Walking increases bone strength, every step counts. People who walk at least 1,5km a day have a higher bone density than those who don’t.
Walking is just as effective as running for fighting major diseases.
Regular brisk walking may help to maintain a healthy weight, prevent various conditions including heart disease, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, cancer, and stroke. Improves your cardiovascular fitness level, strengthens bones, muscles, and improves muscle endurance. May improve your mood, sleep, balance, and coordination. Builds up your immune system and reduces stress. Researchers found that walking for 30 minutes, 3 times a week for 3 months had the same mood boosting result as antidepressants.
As for myself, I have a dog who is a very fast walker, come rain or shine, I’m out there walking. I have noticed that my normal winter lows are not as bad since I got my dog Spencer. If it’s very cold or harsh weather I protect my face with All you need is me balm. Since it contains no water but let’s your skin breathe, it’s perfect for protecting the face. My best ideas and thinking also happen out there on the walks.
See you out there :)
