The lymphatic system and skin health

When your lymphatic system is stagnant, it can show up on your skin. The lymphatic system assists with the expelling of toxins. It lies just beneath your skin. If it is not working as it should or clogged, your skin may suffer from acne, loss of elasticity, premature aging and other skin conditions. The lower body gets a head start in the morning as we get up to walk around and move. To get the circulation going for the upper body try this: clasp your hands behind your head so your elbows stick out. Now in a pumping motion put the elbows together in front of you for a count of 30-50 times. Other ways you can kickstart the system is to dry brush your skin and jump on a trampoline or maybe doing the chicken dance 😉

Oils inside and outside

There are numerous benefits with using topical facial oils but here I wanted to talk about oils as an internal supplement. With a background in Science of natural health, I want to put forward the fantastic benefits for your body you can get from taking some oils as an addition to your diet. An oil that I have taken regularly for many years is evening primrose oil (jättenattljus olja). It regulates hormones and is very helpful if you have pms. Reduces pain, bloating and acne. Many women who go through menopause also use evening primrose oil as it helps deal with common side effects. This is not something you take on occasion, it’s an everyday supplement. It also gives your skin moisture from the inside. Sorry boys, this was a very female oriented post. The beautiful photo is taken by @thompas_images . The photo features our topical Face it serum, please don’t consume ;)
