News / organic serum
I developed the idea of All you need is me when my son was born.
He had diaper rash and I had sore nipples from breast feeding.
Having just completed a degree in science of natural health, I was not happy to put any of the existing balms on my son. Even the certified organic ones that had maybe 5% organic ingredients and the rest could be anything.
When I returned to Sweden after many years, I started looking into how to develop a cream. The result was All you need is me. The name came about as it’s really good for everything :)
From diaper rash, cuts, scrapes, minor burns, sore muscles, dry skin, as an overnight face mask, protecting skin from cold weather and wind and so much more. I still today get people telling me new uses.
All you need is me is 95% organic, 100% natural and it comes in a sustainable tube made of sugarcane.
All you need is me ingredients are
Castor oil, beeswax, olive oil, Shea butter, vitamin E, blueberry seed oil and rosemary leaf extract.
Nothing else, not even water. There’s no need for preservatives as there’s vitamin E, blueberry seed oil but no water. I have actually tasted all the ingredients myself . The olive oil is delicious 😋 😉

Listened to a holistic health specialist yesterday. Had my breathing tested, it turns out that I like most people breathe too shallow. Some of the benefits of deep breathing are
*natural pain killer
*improves blood flow
*increases energy levels
*detoxifies the body
*stimulates lymphatic system
Apparently only people who regularly meditate and practice mindfulness pass this test.
The specialist recommended trying to sleep with a thin piece of surgical tape across the lips so you only breathe through your nose. She said it’s like doing yoga breathing through the night. Maybe something to try ?
When creating our new products, for True organic of Sweden, the ingredients are very carefully considered. They have to be effective, clean, not too expensive and always planet friendly. When I discovered that rosewood is endangered, I immediately changed to ho-leaf essential oil in our Undercover agent deodorant. Unfortunately it puts a lot of pressure on the consumer to check ingredients before buying. I’m there myself, googling ingredients before buying something new. But, I think we have to. The profit driven organic certification organizations are no guarantee, they let through a lot of ingredients that are not planet friendly at all.

Did you hear that a new EU regulation has decided that veggie burgers now have to be called veggie discs?
Makes me think of disc jockey, floppy disk, diskmaskin (for Swedish people)
It’s a little bit funny, no? ..
Like someone ordering a bean burger would get confused and ask “Where is the meat?”
Hmm... is the meat industry behind this maybe?

Pesticides, lack of food and a changed landscape threaten our little wild gardeners. It means serious consequences for our future. We are totally dependent on the crucial work of bees and other insects. About a third of the food we humans eat is pollinated by them.
What can you and I do to help? The problem seems overwhelming but there are quite a few small things we can do as individuals to help. If you have a lawn, leave some of it to become a flowery meadow and plant bee friendly flowers. Build a bee hotel, it’s not so complicated, watch and learn from a Youtube clip. Plant bee and butterfly friendly flowers on your balcony. All different butterflies have a special host flower of plant where they deposit their eggs and the caterpillars eventually feed. Caterpillars are particular which host plant they will feed off, so you can choose which butterflies you would like to hopefully visit.
Choose and support organic food, skincare, clothes etc.
Don’t use pesticides in your garden or harsh chemical cleaning and washing detergents in your home. For your families health and the health of our planet.
Most of us know that chia seeds are great for our bodies when adding to food and smoothies for example. But did you know that oil extracted from chia seeds has incredible beauty benefits? Not only are they rich in precious omega-3 fatty acids, but they’re also intensely anti-inflammatory, calming and antioxidant-rich. What does that mean exactly? Chia seed oil is a great bet for restoring vital moisture, diminishing redness and inhibiting the appearance of wrinkles.
Those essential fatty acids also help to make the skin feel soothed and calmed, while giving it a supple and plumped up appearance. Another bonus to using chia seed oil on skin is its bounty of antioxidants, which help to protect the skin from signs of age, environmental, and UV induced damage. The oil is lightweight and non-greasy, so it won’t leave skin feeling oily. People with dry skin will love using chia seed oil for its amazing moisturizing properties. However, chia seed oil is actually great for all skin types—even oily, which can be surprising to many people. There is a common myth that applying oil to an oily skin will make it worse. This isn’t the case. Oily skin can really benefit from the nourishment that chia seed oil can give, ultimately helping it to control itself and to stop overproducing oil. Chia seed oil is rich in vitamin B3 and zinc, which means it balances oily skin and keeps the complexion clear Soft hydrated skin with a youthful look who doesn’t want that? This is why chia seed oil is the main ingredient in our award winning Face it serum. Top tip – make sure your skin is a bit moist before adding drops of oil on your face, this helps the oil penetrate the skin.

Have you wondered what a serum is and if you really need to use it?
So, let’s make this easy. A serum is a skin care product that you apply to your skin after cleansing but before moisturizing with the intent to deliver a potent shot of ingredients directly into your skin.
The best serums offer highly-concentrated doses directly to your skin which makes them great for targeting specific concerns like wrinkles, brightness, acne or hydration. Important is the type of ingredients used and climate friendly natural vs synthetic.
Because active ingredients are more expensive than thickeners and other fillers, serums are also the costliest product in many skin care lines. The reason is because a serum is the workhorse of your ENTIRE regimen. Compared to a regular moisturizer or lotion, you're getting way more bang for your skincare buck.
When applied properly, a 1-ounce container of serum should last months, a few drops are sufficient to cover the entire face.
Unlike a moisturizer, serums are thinner which allows the active ingredients to penetrate quickly into the epidermis instead of lying on the surface.
Face lotions and creams are richer and create a barrier on top of the skin to keep all that good stuff in.
