Healthy habits

Thinking about all the "healthy" habits we are bombarded with and feel like we should be doing. There are so many things people say we need to add to our routine but that can feel really overwhelming, you know? I think it's better to just pick one small thing and focus on that for a bit before adding more.

Start really tiny - so tiny it's impossible to mess up! If you tell yourself you're going to do a 30 minute yoga session every day, chances are some days you'll do zero minutes. And then you'll feel bad about not sticking to your "goal". But if you just commit to doing one single stretch, it's way more likely you'll actually do it. And that will help you feel proud of yourself for keeping your word. Then once that one stretch feels easy, you can slowly add another tiny thing, like doing some "deep breathing" for a couple minutes.

Take it easy, right? The best way to make something a habit is to attach it to something you already do all the time. They call this "habit stacking". So if you want to do deep breathing, try it in the shower. After a few days, getting in the shower will automatically make you think to breathe. And boom, new habit with no effort! You could also stretch while the kettle boils or give yourself a face massage with "Make my day moisturizer". Face yoga with "All you need is me balm" for a moisturized glowy face. Get creative and see what works for your routine.

And if your new habit involves stuff you need to use, keep it out where you'll see it. I always have my essential oil blend by my bed so I can easily smell it in the mornings. I apply "All you need is me balm" on my feet before bed. Make it super easy on yourself so sticking to healthy habits is no big deal.

It takes about two months to make a habit...or does it? Who even knows with these things!

The ingredients of All you need is me the multi award winning balm
100% natural and 95% organic
Castor Oil - It is very beneficial during wintertime in preventing dry skin. Castor oil aids in purifying the skin and can eliminate acne, blemishes and rashes, like from shaving.

Beeswax - Beeswax locks in moisture and protects skin from damaging environmental factors.

Olive Oil - Using olive oil for skin is an ancient beauty secret, discovered thousands of years ago. Once called “liquid gold” by Homer, olive oil was a commonly used skin care product by Phoenicians, Egyptians, Romans, and Greeks. Olive oil has vitamin E and oleic acid, which are both beneficial to the skin. Olive oil’s oleic acid helps to soften the skin, and the vitamin E improves the elasticity of the skin.

Shea butter - Shea Butter comes from the nut of the Shea tree. The cream itself is extracted from the nut without any chemicals or chemical processes to ensure it being organic and all natural. One of the most important benefits of Shea butter is that it’s naturally rich in vitamins A, D, E and F. Shaving with it creates a smooth silky shaving experience.

Vitamin E - In terms of skin health and skin care, vitamin E benefits are numerous. In fact, skin care products that contain vitamin E have become an essential part of healthy skin care. Vitamin E is an antioxidant that protects and repairs your skin. Vitamin E prevents free radical damage.

Blueberry seed Oil - Blueberry Seed oil (Vaccinium myrtillus) is naturally rich in Vitamin E (tocopherols and tocotrienols). Tocotrienols are a sub-group of Vitamin E and differ from the better known tocopherols by their unsaturated side-chain. Because of this structural difference, tocotrienols move faster in cell membranes, and results in higher antioxidant and radical scavenging properties & especially important for the skin.
