Healing from a torn calf muscle

Never do I appreciate my healthy body as when I hurt it and it doesn’t function as it normally does. It’s a reminder that we really should be grateful for our amazing bodies. Last week when I played tennis with my son, I tore a muscle in my calf. Full on rest and forced to lie still. I have never wanted to move so much in my life 😉 

To encourage healing from the inside I took Magnesium for muscle pain, turmeric as it’s a superstar anti inflammatory, zinc for wound healing and cut out sugar as it adds inflammation and ate fresh, clean anti inflammatory foods. Of course I also applied the soothing All you need is me balm on my legs for relief . I never new tennis could be such a dangerous sport 🎾
