Veggie burgers

Did you hear that a new EU regulation has decided that veggie burgers now have to be called veggie discs?

Makes me think of disc jockey, floppy disk, diskmaskin (for Swedish people)

It’s a little bit funny, no? ..

Like someone ordering a bean burger would get confused and ask “Where is the meat?”

Hmm... is the meat industry behind this maybe?

Forest bathing for wellbeing

Have you heard of forest bathing? It’s a health trend originating from Japan. It means simply being in the forest, taking in the atmosphere of the forest through our senses. It’s meant to be enjoyed slowly, not through a sweaty hike or run.

There are many health benefits and it definitely improves the overall feelings of wellbeing.

Bee (a) savior

A recent report from the Swedish environmental protection agency states that the situation is urgent for bees, butterflies and other pollinators. In Sweden as many as one third of our 270 distinct wild bee species are endangered. The problem of bee decline is not unique to Sweden, it is a huge global problem.
Pesticides, lack of food and a changed landscape threaten our little wild gardeners. It means serious consequences for our future. We are totally dependent on the crucial work of bees and other insects. About a third of the food we humans eat is pollinated by them.

What can you and I do to help? The problem seems overwhelming but there are quite a few small things we can do as individuals to help. If you have a lawn, leave some of it to become a flowery meadow and plant bee friendly flowers. Build a bee hotel, it’s not so complicated, watch and learn from a Youtube clip. Plant bee and butterfly friendly flowers on your balcony. All different butterflies have a special host flower of plant where they deposit their eggs and the caterpillars eventually feed. Caterpillars are particular which host plant they will feed off, so you can choose which butterflies you would like to hopefully visit.
Choose and support organic food, skincare, clothes etc.
Don’t use pesticides in your garden or harsh chemical cleaning and washing detergents in your home. For your families health and the health of our planet.

Power acne mask

You probably know that seaweed is healthy to eat but did you know that it also has endless benefits when you apply it to your face and scalp?
It removes toxic substances, and impurities from your skin, it’s a power acne treatment. Seaweed is toning, revitalizing and pore tightening, a seaweed facial mask is marvelous for helping to clear irritated, problem skin.
Seaweed is naturally high in iodine, minerals, salts and vitamins. Being of a non-oily nature makes it particularly suitable for oily and combination skin.
It brightens skin and targets hyper pigmentations : Seaweed can help make skin radiant and blemish-free since it contains niacin, which is known for brightening complexions and reducing hyperpigmentation.
Since seaweed is packed with B vitamins (among numerous naturally occurring nutrients), it can really help reduce acne-related inflammation and redness.
Our Sea me mask with seaweed is popular for oily or acne prone skin because of it’s ability to work gently to purify and detoxify whilst promoting circulation and healthy skin rejuvenation.

What UK blogger Sara Steele has to day about Sea me mask

It was yet another chill out day with a long relaxing bath. I’ve been using so many wonderful products recently. Gröna Gredelina’s bath salts is a favourite of mine. I took the opportunity to try a new face mask from True organic of Sweden called Sea Me Mask. The first impression is good. First, it almost burned but then it calmed down and my skin felt amazing afterwards. I then used a new favourite facial oil from Barr Sweden called Secret forest.

Love to hear that bloggers from all around the world love our Sea me mask

Say hello to the glow!

Say hello to the glow!
Are you also tired of your tired skin ? The answer is Face masks. Instead of using a face mask every so often, you should be using them regularly to really benefit your skin.

Masking takes the cleansing process to a whole new level. Only a good facial mask can help to draw out impurities that hide beneath the top layers of the epidermis. Some people say that their skin goes through a “detoxing” when they use a mask, because they actually notice the changes in the skin while this is happening. Masks are incredible at providing this deeper cleansing process, which leads to an improvement in the appearance of pores that you can see and feel. Who doesn’t love that?
3 reasons you want to apply a mask this weekend
1. When you remove the build up of dead skin cells that accumulate on your skin, it helps to unclog pores too.
2. Masks, can help stimulate blood circulation so you can notice a radiant glow and more refreshed appearance.
3. Masking helps all of your other skin care products work more efficiently. If you want your day lotions, serums and nighttime products to be absorbed by your skin quicker and deeper, then a face mask is a must. By masking on a regular basis, you can ensure that your toning, hydrating and protecting products will all perform better, providing you with the results you’re looking to achieve at a much faster pace.
Apply a Face Mask in 5 Simple Steps
Step 1: Be prepared to make a mess. If you’re going to apply a face mask while relaxing in the tub, you don’t have to worry about making a mess. You can cover your face, neck, décolleté and throat and just relax. If you don’t have time for a bath, then take the time to pull back your hair so it’s not near your face. Be sure to wear clothing that you don’t mind getting messy. Chances are, you’ll make a bit of a mess when you use a mask. But, hey, that’s the fun of it all.
Step 2: I always recommend starting with a freshly cleansed face. Use your daily cleanser to remove all of the surface dirt, oils and makeup before you apply your mask. This will help to ensure that you receive all of the benefits your face mask was designed to deliver.
Step 3: Using damp hands, apply your mask directly onto your damp skin. Never rub the mask directly into your skin. It should be applied like frosting on a cupcake. Extend the mask from your face, down your neck, décolleté and throat. Nothing worse then a young looking face and an old wrinkly neck, right?
Step 4: Leave the mask on for 15-20 minutes
Step 5: It’s time to remove the mask. Masks are designed to adhere to your skin. You don’t want to be too rough when removing it. Use plenty of water and a wash cloth to gently wash away the mask. Pat, don’t rub, your skin dry with a towel.

Here is what @organicbeautyreview had to say about the Sea me mask:
This is actually a really cool product. The most important ingredient is chlorella, seaweed. And seaweed has many benefits. It's rich in beneficial minerals, vitamins, amino acids and trace elements. Seaweed has a wonderful effect on any skin type. It's particularly recommended for mature skin. This plant has regenerative properties which remove dead skin cells and skin becomes fresh and taut. At the same time it possesses smoothing and tightening effect.
I do not disagree at all. I'm so amazed how smooth skin feels after. So refreshed and it's perfect to treat your skin to that extra glow. I'm very happy with it.

Sea me mask - seaweed glow

Holiday time is coming up and hopefully some pampering time for you and me. Here I am with our deep cleansing Sea me mask. Don’t forget your neck and décolleté when you are masking. When I have time, I also use the Sea me mask as a hair mask. Must admit, I’m a little bit addicted as it makes my skin look so good and gives my face a glow. It’s also good for acne and problem skin. I mask probably 2-3 times a week.
I like to make products that are effective but with few ingredients, natural and as high organic content as possible. Sea me mask is with Chlorella a blue green algae- rich in amino acids and antioxidants, Hyaluronic acid - natural collagen stimulator, Aloe vera - increases elasticity, Pullulan- tightens and forms the skin. Spearmint and peppermint essential oils.
Some people don’t like the natural scent, Sea me mask has 5% seaweed. To me it smells like an expensive spa product, the real thing. But hearing how some people really don’t like the scent, we have decided to make some adjustments with essential oils in the next batch. What do you think?
Remember to stress less and pamper yourself more .
